GreenFeed Growing Systems was founded by Nick Kemp during 2005 in Nylstroom, Limpopo Province where Nick operated a full Commercial GreenFeed growing System. The system was designed to specifically accommodate the harsh African climate, the general lack of Hydroponic resources and to keep the cost of a production unit and the labour involvement as low as possible.

The excessive current cost of concentrated feed and alternative cheaper solutions was the main reasons for this development. The systems building method used were to optimize existing materials commonly available in South Africa. The GreenFeed office was subsequently moved and is now situated in Ruimsig, Krugersdorp.

GreenFeed growing systems can be used to supply daily feed in Dairy- en Feedlot units, the Race horse fraternity, Sheep-, Pork- and Chicken industry, Zoo’s and Game farms.
